Entebbe → Kibale National Park (Chimpanzee Region)
Depart Entebbe early in the morning and begin your scenic journey to western Uganda.
Travel through lush countryside, tea plantations, and local villages, with en-route stops for photography and lunch.
Arrive in Kibale National Park in the afternoon and check into your lodge.
Spend the evening at leisure, preparing for the chimpanzee tracking experience.

Kibale – Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off into the forest for chimpanzee tracking.
Kibale is home to one of the highest concentrations of primates in Africa, offering excellent chances to observe chimps in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk.
This community-run project is rich in birdlife and offers insights into local conservation efforts and culture.

Then embark on your gorilla trek through dense rainforest, guided by experienced rangers.
Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing a gorilla family in their natural environment.
After the trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.
Enjoy the tranquil setting surrounded by hills and islands.
