Day 1
Nairobi Wildlife and Cultural Experience
Your guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or residence in a comfortable pop-up safari vehicle and begin the journey toward the famous Giraffe Centre, one of Kenya’s leading wildlife conservation centers dedicated to protecting the endangered Rothschild giraffe.
Here, you will enjoy an up-close encounter from the raised feeding platform, hand-feed giraffes, take memorable photographs, and learn about giraffe conservation programs through the educational exhibits.
After the giraffe encounter, continue to Kazuri Beads Factory where you will observe the fascinating process of handmade ceramic bead production created by local women artisans.
You will then proceed to the historic Karen Blixen Museum, the former colonial home of the Danish author whose memoir inspired Out of Africa.
Explore the preserved rooms, beautiful gardens, and learn about Kenya’s colonial history before returning to your hotel in Nairobi in the late afternoon.
