Day 1
Nairobi to Lake Naivasha – Boat Safari & Crescent Island Walk
Your Kenya day safari begins early as we pick you up from your Nairobi hotel and drive you through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can take breathtaking photos of escarpments and volcanic formations.
By mid-morning you arrive at Lake Naivasha, where your boat captain welcomes you aboard for a peaceful safari across the lake as hippos grunt nearby and fish eagles dive dramatically for their catch.
You’ll then land on Crescent Island for a guided walking safari — a rare chance to walk among wildlife with no predators present.
Giraffes stroll gracefully across the open plains, zebras graze freely, and impalas leap between acacia trees as your guide explains the island’s history and ecology.
After lunch at a lakeside lodge, we drive back to Nairobi and drop you at your preferred location.
