Day 1
Nairobi → Lake Naivasha → Nairobi
Your adventure starts with an 8:30 AM pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, followed by a scenic drive west into the Great Rift Valley (approx. 95 km / 2 hours).
You’ll pause at a viewpoint overlooking the valley for photos before continuing toward Lake Naivasha.
Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing boat ride across the calm waters as you search for hippos, fish eagles, and the shoreline wildlife that makes Naivasha so unique.
After the boat ride, you may choose to enjoy an optional Crescent Island walking safari, where giraffes, zebras, and antelopes roam freely in an open sanctuary.
Later, settle for an optional lunch at one of Naivasha’s lakeside restaurants before beginning your return journey.
You arrive back in Nairobi in the late afternoon (approx. 95 km / 2 hours), feeling restored by a day of nature, wildlife, and slow adventure.
