Day 1
Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel towards the Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing through the scenic Great Rift Valley and Kenya’s countryside. Enjoy a stop along the way, where time and road conditions permit, to appreciate the landscape and take photographs before continuing towards the reserve.
Arrive in the Maasai Mara around midday or early afternoon, depending on the departure time, road conditions, and access point. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive to explore the reserve’s grasslands and look for wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and predators. Later, transfer to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transport: Safari vehicle from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara and during scheduled game drives. The road journey typically takes approximately 5–6 hours each way, depending on traffic, road conditions, and the camp or reserve gate location.

Rise early for breakfast and, where the schedule and park regulations allow, enjoy a morning game drive when wildlife may be active across the reserve. Your driver-guide will help search for animals and share insights into their behavior, habitats, and the Mara ecosystem. The specific sightings will depend on wildlife movements and seasonal conditions.
After the morning activities, return to the camp for breakfast or lunch according to the selected schedule, then begin the journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy the changing scenery along the way, arriving in the city in the late afternoon or evening. Drop-off will be at your hotel, residence, or another agreed location in Nairobi.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch, subject to the selected camp’s meal arrangements and departure schedule.
