Your adventure begins early as we depart Nairobi and head north past rolling farmlands and Mt Kenya’s rising silhouette.
At Sirimon Gate (2,650m), your crew completes park formalities as you breathe in crisp mountain air — the perfect reset.
The trek begins gently through lush forest and giant heather, alive with bird calls and mountain scents.

Old Moses ➜ Shipton Camp (4,200m)
Today’s trek is long but deeply rewarding.
The trail winds across open moorland dotted with giant lobelias and senecios — plants found only in East African highlands.
The air thins, step by step, as the jagged peaks of Batian and Nelion reveal themselves.
By late afternoon, you arrive at Shipton Camp, nestled beneath towering rock faces.
The mountain’s raw beauty surrounds you, and tonight the stars feel impossibly close.
Rest well — tomorrow prepares your body for the summit.

The views are surreal — glaciers, steep rock towers, and sweeping valleys.
You return to Shipton in the early afternoon for rest, hydration, and preparation for your summit push.

Arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon, with a drop-off at your hotel or at JKIA for your flight.
