Day 1
Mombasa/Diani/Lamu → Tsavo East → Mombasa
Your safari begins with a 6:00 AM pick-up from Mombasa or Diani (Lamu guests must fly into Mombasa early enough to join the group).
You head northwest toward Tsavo East on a beautiful sunrise drive (approx. 160–180 km / 3 hours).
Upon entering the park mid-morning, your guide opens the pop-up roof for panoramic viewing as you begin your wildlife adventure across the red-earth plains.
You enjoy an extended game drive through famous areas like Aruba Dam, looking for elephants, lions, zebras, buffalo, and countless bird species.
An optional buffet lunch is available at one of the lodges inside the park.
After lunch, you continue with your afternoon game drive before exiting the park and driving back to Mombasa or Diani (approx. 160–180 km / 3 hours), arriving in the early evening.
