Day 1
Nairobi → Maasai Mara National Reserve (Afternoon Game Drive)
Your journey begins in Nairobi as we depart by road and descend through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, with a scenic stop for panoramic photography. The drive continues through Maasai towns and rolling savannah landscapes as you approach the world-famous Maasai Mara.
Upon arrival at your lodge, you settle in before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. This is your first encounter with the wild — elephants moving across golden grasslands, giraffes silhouetted against the sunset, and predators beginning their evening hunt.

Full Day Maasai Mara Safari Experience
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Maasai Mara — Kenya’s most celebrated Big 5 safari destination. We set out after breakfast for a full-day game drive across different ecosystems of the reserve, following wildlife movements guided by your expert safari guide.
Expect dramatic encounters — lion prides resting under acacia trees, cheetahs scanning the horizon, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras stretching into the distance. A picnic lunch is enjoyed in the wild before continuing your afternoon exploration.

Maasai Mara → Lake Nakuru National Park
After a relaxed breakfast, we depart Maasai Mara and travel through the Rift Valley en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey offers scenic countryside views and glimpses of local Kenyan life along the way.
Upon arrival, you enter the park for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is known for its white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and seasonal flocks of flamingos painting the lake edges pink. It is a compact but incredibly rich wildlife sanctuary.

Later, you may opt for a visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can enjoy walking or cycling safaris among dramatic cliffs and geothermal landscapes (optional activity). The rest of the evening is at leisure at your lodge.
